William Crable

Mr. Crable has 30 years of experience and more than $ 3 billion USD of transaction history in commercial real estate, focused principally in New York and Tokyo.

He began his career at Cityside Realty, a New York based investment realty, advisory, and real estate development firm. Subsequently, he was a Vice President at American Hotel Corp, a New York and Toronto Canada firm specializing in hotel transactions.

In 1991 Mr. Crable founded and incorporated Vaxholm Realty, Inc., a New York City based commercial real estate brokerage company, and in 1993 he founded Sonida Group, Inc., (now known as ECA New York Real Estate Advisors).

In total, he has been directly involved in the purchase and sale of U.S. commercial real estate assets and secured and unsecured real estate debt in excess of $ 2 billion USD on behalf of the RTC, insurance companies, REITS, domestic and foreign banks, Wall Street firms, pension funds, other real estate companies, corporations, and wealthy individuals.

In 1997, Mr. Crable came to Japan to work as Acquisition Director of one of the world’s leading investment banks. In total, he has been directly involved in commercial real estate transactions originating from and in Japan in excess of $ 1 billion USD.

Mr. Crable holds an undergraduate B.A. degree, and a post-graduate degree in Real Estate Investment Analysis, 1991, from the Real Estate Institute of New York University.

Currently, he works and resides together with his wife Mari in Manhattan.

Scott Prina
President

Mr. Prina has more than 20 years of experience as a regional business leader and corporate executive in Asia, with a record of building high-growth, quality businesses.

At ECA, he has advised Japan-based Investors on more than US $250,000,000 in Manhattan commercial real estate transactions.

In 1994, he joined Dialogic Corporation, and later he was promoted to Managing Director of mainland China and South Korea. Dialogic was acquired by Intel Corporation in 1999 for US $780M.

In 2000, he was recruited by Jetstream Communications, Inc., a Silicon Valley startup with more than $50M in venture capital funding, to start up Asian operations from zero.

In his next role Mr. Prina led Creo Japan (160 employees, US $62M) as Managing Director, and Corporate VP Creo Corporation. Creo was sold to Eastman Kodak in 2005 for US $980M.

In 2006, he founded and incorporated Synapse Group, K.K., a privately owned advisory and consulting firm, focused on new business startups, strategy, and channel development for foreign companies in Japan.

Mr. Prina is fluent in spoken and written Japanese, and holds an undergraduate degree (BSEE), and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE), 1987, from the University of New Hampshire.

Currently, he works in Tokyo, where he has resided for the majority of the past 20 years.
